Power Events

This page documents the webhook events and payload fields relevant to Entri Power. For the payload envelope and signature verification, see Webhooks Overview.

Webhook event types

Entri Power sends its own webhook events, in addition to the Power fields it adds to the standard flow payload described below.

domain.power.provisioned: A domain is live on Power.
domain.power.updated: A domain now points to a different application.
domain.power.deprovisioned: Power was removed from the domain.
domain.power.certificate_renewal_failed: A certificate could not be renewed.

These events are only delivered if they are selected for your application in the Dashboard, under Application → Webhooks, in the Webhook events section. See Choosing which events you receive.

`domain.power.provisioned`

Sent when a domain is successfully set up and goes live on Power. Use it to confirm the domain is ready and kick off any next steps on your side. It tells you which domain went live, the application URL it now points to, when it happened, whether it was set up through the API or the Entri modal, and its current status.

`id`	string	Entri’s ID for the webhook event.
`user_id`	string	The user ID your application sent during setup, if any.
`domain`	string	The domain that went live on Power.
`type`	string	`"domain.power.provisioned"`.
`application_url`	string	The application URL the domain now points to, or `"exempt"` when it does not apply.
`redirect_to`	string	The destination the domain redirects to, or `"exempt"` when the domain is not a redirect.
`cname_target`	string	The CNAME target used for the DNS configuration.
`provisioned_at`	string (ISO 8601)	When the domain was provisioned.
`provisioned_by`	[api, modal]	How it was set up: `"api"` through the Power API, `"modal"` through the Entri modal.
`power_status`	[active, inactive]	The domain’s Power status. `"active"` for this event.

`domain.power.updated`

Sent when a domain is updated to point to a different application. Use it to keep your own records up to date whenever this changes. It tells you which domain changed, the new destination and the previous one, who made the change, when it happened, and the domain’s current status.

`updated_by`	string	How the change was made. Currently always `"api"`.
`power_status`	[active, inactive]	The domain’s Power status. `"active"` for this event.

`domain.power.deprovisioned`

Sent when Power is removed from a domain and Entri stops serving it. Use it to close things out on your side or let the affected user know their domain is no longer powered. It tells you which domain was removed and when it happened.

`application_url`	string	The application URL the domain pointed to, or `null` when it does not apply.
`redirect_to`	string	The destination the domain redirected to, or `null` when the domain was not a redirect.
`cname_target`	string	The CNAME target that was used for the DNS configuration.
`deprovisioned_at`	string (ISO 8601)	When Power was removed.
`deprovisioned_by`	string	How it was removed. Currently always `"api"`.
`power_status`	[active, inactive]	The domain’s Power status. `"inactive"` for this event.

`domain.power.certificate_renewal_failed`

Sent when the security certificate for a domain running on Power can’t be renewed because its settings are missing something or pointing to the wrong place. Use it to alert the domain owner early, before visitors run into security warnings. It tells you which domain is affected, the application URL it points to, when the renewal failed, what the settings should look like, and what they currently look like, so the owner knows exactly what to fix.

`cname_target`	string	The CNAME target used for the DNS configuration.
`renewal_failed_at`	string (ISO 8601)	When the renewal failed.
`expected_records`	array of DNSRecord objects	The records the domain needs for Power to renew the certificate.
`records_present`	array of DNSRecord objects	The records currently found for the domain. Empty if none could be read.

For a domain set up on a root domain, expected_records contains the A records Power expects. For any other domain it contains a single CNAME record pointing at your cname_target.

Status fields

power_status: Only relevant when using Entri Power. Describes the status of the advanced features configuration. Possible values:
- "pending": Setup of advanced features is pending.
- "success": Advanced features setup was successful.
- "failed": Setup of advanced features failed.
- "exempt": Entri Power does not apply to the current flow.

In the domain.power.* events listed above, power_status reports whether Power is currently running on the domain and uses a different set of values: "active" or "inactive". The values above apply to the standard flow payload.

Payload fields

cname_target: Only applicable for Entri Power and Secure setups. The CNAME target used for DNS configuration (e.g. "my.saascompany.com").

The base flow webhook payload’s data.records_propagated entries may include the following Power-only fields:

applicationUrl: (optional, Entri Power only) The application URL tied to the propagated DNS record (e.g. "www.example.com").
powerRootPathAccess: (optional, Entri Power only) An array of paths accessible through Entri Power. Example:
["path1", "path2", "pathN"]
